~ Photography Homework ~ Lesson 2

I went to the park to work on some of lesson 2. The first thing I ran into was this bird. I could not believe the color of its beak. Right after I took the picture the little guy flew off. I was able to get it's eyes open because of what I had learned in class.

The next part of the lesson was in using the flash. In taking these pictures, I learned a couple things. First that while I was focusing on the center box, the main focus of the flash went up and to the left. This will help me in the future when I do need to use the flash.
The next assignment is comparing the differences in using the tripod and holding the camera while taking a picture. On the first picture, I took from the tripod. The second picture was taken with me holding the camera. There is a HUGE difference.
Here are the pictures that I took to confirm that my sensor was dirty. These are of a church not too far from the house. If you notice, there are brown dots in the sky. I took the pictures two days in a row. These are dust spots that are on my sensor and they will show up on every picture until the sensor is cleaned. This is why I had to clean my sensor.
